Driving Experience Safety Brief
Normally your driving experience will include a safety debrief, this may happen in a group situation, explaining the importance of having a good time, but to always remember you are traveling at speed and your decision not only effect you, but others also on the track including any safety personnel. Your clothes, you helmet are all part of the debrief.
Also discussed is what the marshalls are saying you in terms of flags, red flag for stop, green fag for go, what flag is for you to slown down etc. This can be the only way to communicate with you whislt you are on the track.
Familiarise Yourself With The Track
Often you will get the chance to familiarise yourself with the track or route by being taken out in a less powerful car first. You can then see at first hand, how tight certain corners are, how steep and backs are and understand the kerbs throughout the track, to ensure you don't clip them when your shouldn't. Where to brake, where to accelerate is all part of the initial familiarisation, so that you are better prepared when you go out in your chosen car.
