Lotus off course has a British history even though it is not owned by the Brit's anymore and the name Colin Chapman played a huge parts in Lotus's success in the early years and even James Bond has had a few outings in one or two, even one that converted into a submarine, something that none of the Lotus driving experience companies offer. What a shame.

Now many Lotus driving experience companies offer Lotus days because of the power and handling of these cars with probably the Lotus Elise being the most popular. The Lotus Exige may pop up on some other gift day companies also offering outstanding performance, which is similar as a race car designed for the road.

These cars are extremely light with just about anything that is not needed taken out, including carpets, air conditioning and anything else that may slow the car down. Of course there are other models that may be available such as the Lotus Elan and Esprit.
